Sandra Pettovello predicted an LLA victory in the province of Buenos Aires: "There could be an upset."

The Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, surprised everyone this Tuesday when she gave an interview in which she discussed politics and the upcoming elections in the Province of Buenos Aires. "There could be a surprise," she suggested, referring to a possible victory for La Libertad Avanza over Peronism.

Asked whether the ruling party could perform well in the Conurbano, the minister stated: "I think so. I think data kills the narrative. If these are the figures, people can sense it, and maybe there could be a surprise."

The data he referred to during an interview with LN+ were the positive inflation figures - 1.6% in June - and the decline in poverty - 31.7% during the first quarter of 2025.

The minister clarified that there was no outbreak in the Conurbano region at the start of Milei's administration because, she said, "we redirected the money that was given to poverty managers, which the government gave them, in the budget and gave it to the people; we removed the middlemen." "We gave the resources to those who truly needed them. The AUH increased by 400%, the Food Card by 137%, and the Thousand Days Allowance by 1,400%," she explained.
